Antipodean is a meeting place where expatriates and locals meet up for excellent coffee and great food (Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore). Looking to cement themselves as a fun, culturally rich cafe with a strong community spirit, they approached us for a clear brand strategy and tone of voice. Using quirky Kiwi humour and imagery, we celebrated their personality and positioned them as a global brand with cult-like status. Clear + consistent messaging with an initial focus on coffee addiction, evolved into celebrating life's everyday moment's we take for granted: friends, family, weekends. This developed into the 'Addicted to Life' slogan, and in the process, reminding customers to keep coming back for more.
