Life Rocks uses scientifically-based interactive play and learning resources to help parents and teachers connect children to the magic of nature. In developing the identity we focussed on the ‘human’ connection with nature – it is confident and playful, bringing us back to our ‘roots’. The typeface is organic - the opposite of technology, where we want to transition away from. Yet, it still boasts a premium look that translates well across digital and print. The use of nature’s illustrations portrays a connection with the earth that resonate with the audience. The 'curious eye' acts as the brandmark – what begins with curiosity, turns into a magical journey, being ‘mesmerised’ by nature. The 'Handpack' typeface is imperfect and unique, just like our natural environment, whereas the multi-coloured palette is fun, majestic, indicates inclusion and represents the variety of textures found in nature.
